Let's see if I can keep a blog going this time. A little personal history -- I came back to Omaha in 2004 after 20 years away with the USAF. I was happily remarried in 2005 and remain so. I was laid off from my job as a test engineer for a defense contractor at Offutt AFB in 2008. I went to nursing school and worked at a hospital for 18 months. I'm currently a corrections officer for Douglas County, pursuing a masters at Bellevue University in management information systems...still don't know what I want to do when I grow up, it seems.
